Compounding

1. Compounders can turn a certain bunch of some items into a new item... or something. Yeah. Anyways, Compounder Paul can be found in Paradise (Desert Beach), Aquarius (Ghost Blue), Megalopolis, Azteca (Caballa Relics), and Carbigal (Black Swamp), while Compounder Nadia can be found in Aquarius, Azteca, and Carbigal. Talk to them to open the compounding window.

2. Your success rate in compounding is determined by DA (See step 5.), so wear all your DA equips while you are compounding.

3. The first thing you do after you open the compounding window is to choose the item you want to compound. If you right-click on the item in the dropdown menu, you can choose to "View Info" about that item, which would bring up a window as if you had right-clicked it from your inventory. After you have picked your item, its ingredients (What items you need, and how many.) are shown. (Mousing over an ingredient will show its name.)

4. Then enter the number of items you want to compound, and either drag the ingredients from your inventory, or press the "Auto" button to do it automatically. You can compound up to 99 items at once. Also note the fee at the bottom. When you are ready, press the "GO" button to start compounding.

5. The comfirmation window will show the percent of success, which is the base odds of the item's success, plus an additional bonus based on your DA. If it doesn't show as high of a percent as you can get, press no and try again, until you get the highest bonus percent you can achieve. Then press yes to continue compounding.

6. As you compound, the results are shown in the bottom of the window. It will either succeed, and you'll get the item you're trying to compound, or it'll fail, and you'll get a Compound Waste. This can be a slightly boring and slow process, especially if you're making hundreds or thousands of something (In batches of the maximium 99.), so feel free to go do something else for a few minutes, and come back later.

7. After it has completed, the total success and failues are shown. The results will also show up in your chat window. The compounded items are automatically added to your inventory. Congratulations and enjoy!
