INTRO
If you're a Trickster newb without a clue what the hell you're supposed to do, then this is the Wiki page for you (LOLRHYME). I'll explain to you all of the basic steps- starting the game, character creation, stats, etc. I'll even link you to a few useful leveling guides, because I am just that awesome. <3 lol @ thread intros that end too abruptly.

STEP 01: THE BASICS

Assuming you've installed the game and you know how to log in, start up eTrickster. Once it's finished patching, click the "start" button on the launcher, and then "Game Start" once the game pops up.

Once you're at the "server select" screen, choose a server. It doesn't really matter which one you choose. You'll have the same 3 character slots for both of them, and you can log off and switch to the other server whenever you want.

STEP 02: CHOOSING YOUR CHARACTER

So you're in? Nice. Now it's time to choose your character. There are 8 classes to choose from- Bunny, Buffalo, Sheep, Dragon, Fox, Lion, Cat and Raccoon. Each have their own special abilities based on different stats. My job isn't to tell you which class to choose though, so I'll just provide you with some helpful links. :]

---------------

POWER TYPES
Adun's Bunny Guide
(I couldn't find any buffalo guides at this time, but after reading the Bunny Guide, you should be able to figure things out.)

MAGIC TYPES
Takushikun's 'Ideal Dragon/Sheep Until Job Change' Guide

SENSE TYPES
Pentao's eTrickster Fox Guide
Solaer's Fox Guide
DrakeXV's Lion Gunner Guide

CHARM TYPES
Sholee's Evasion Cat Guide
Ryu Sawatari's Hybrid Raccoon Guide

However, I will tell you about stats, and what they do.
You may have heard people saying things like "My bunny's a 4114 build!". This simply means that their bunny/boxer has 4 points in power, 1 point in magic, 1 point in sense, and 4 points in charm. So each level, they would get 4114 = 1 point in power, 1/4 of a point in magic, 1/4 of a point in sense, and 1 charm per level. Easy, right? Certain character types rely on specific stats in order for their skills to be effective.

So now I'll tell you about each stat and what it does.

---------------
(Credit goes to Kareru for the stat info, since I basically got lazy and copied it.)

POWER
AP - Attack Power - Increases physical attack power.
AC - Accuracy - Increases physical accuracy and gun damage (1 AC = 20 damage)
DX - Attack Delay - Lower values mean higher physical (melee) attack speed.

MAGIC
MP - Magic Points - Increases maximum amount of MP available
MA - Magic Attack - Increases magical attack power (spells of Magic types)
MD - Magic Defence - Increases defence against magic spells

SENSE
WT - Weight - Increases carrying capacity
DA - Detect Ability - Increases chances of "perceiving" whether an item is where you're drilling (the lightbulb and annoyed squiggly)
LK - Luck - Increases accuracy of ranged skills/magic spells and critical hit rate

CHARM
HP - Hit Points - Increases maximum amount of HP available
DP - Defence Power - Increases defence against physical (non-magic) attacks
HV - Hit Evasion - Increases chances of dodging attacks

STEP 03: TUTORIAL

Once you've made your character, double-click it. A menu will pop up with three options: Do Practice, Skipping, and Don't Practice.
It's up to you, but I HIGHLY suggest you choose Do Practice. Not only will you find out a lot of important information that I don't plan on covering in this guide, but you'll get items to start out with.
If you choose Skipping, you can skip the tutorial for now and go back to it later. If you choose not to do the tutorial at all, you'll have a hard time figuring everything out. However, it's your choice.

STEP 04: ACTUALLY GETTING STARTED

Upon completing the tutorial, you'll be warped to one of two places- Coral Beach or Paradise. So what should you do now?

1. Drilling is a good idea if you're just starting out. You can find quests around town that involve drilling for items, or you could just drill for money and EXP.

2. It's inevitable of course, that you'll have to fight lots of monsters if you expect to get anywhere in this game. So find some low-level monsters to start with and grind away~ :[

3. If you're tired of leveling by yourself, join a party. Go into the party menu (P) and select 'view bulletin board'. Look for people who are requesting more party members, or requesting to join a party. In a special or royal party, you can even get up to 2.5x the normal amount of EXP. It really does help a lot. ;D

4. Once you have a few TM levels, find the Skill Masters in the area and buy some skill cards. Go into the card menu (C) and double-click the card to equip it, then go into the skill menu (S) and level up that skill. It might be a bad idea to level a skill too much when you're still at a low level, because with each level a skill costs more MP. For example, if you level Magic Arrow to 10 the second you hit TM level 11, you might not even be able to use it.

5. Got some l337 itamz lololo? Find the shop in your area and sell them to an NPC, or open your own shop and sell them to other players.

6. Check out the monster guild quests. If you can handle them, go ahead and try them. You'll be rewarded with money and EXP/TM EXP, and sometimes items.

7. To open this menu, right click your character. Hover your mouse over these buttons to see what they do.
-You can open up MyCamp, which is basically a little house (not implemented yet).
-You can open a shop to sell items~
-Display a message above your character's head.
-Open a chatroom channel (there usually aren't any chatrooms open at all).
-Open an instant chat.
-Report something to a GM.
-Open up the Game Options menu.

Anddd that's pretty much it for now! Have fun in game~!
